Workshop Large Image Data: Management, Handling, Exploration and Quantification

Many recent developments in state-of-the-art microscopy techniques (i.e. super-resolution, light sheet, SEM) provide tremendous potential while creating new challenges simultaneously.
One prominent challenge is the growing amount of data due to increasing file sizes that require novel solutions in data management and data processing in the routine research environment.
To overcome the daily routine problems in large data and large image data management and handling we would like to invite you to a workshop organized by LIN’s Combinatorial NeuroImaging Core Facility (CNI) in collaboration with arivis AG (Munich, Germany) and ACQUIFER (Pforzheim, Germany) to discuss state-of-the-art solutions for flexible and time-efficient data management and large image data handling.
The workshop is aimed to give a vivid impression of the comprehensive workflow both companies have developed for image acquisition, data management and analysis in recent years.
Experts from both companies will introduce the concept behind their technology, discuss user requirements and demonstrate how it works during hands-on sessions with pre-registerd participants in small groups.
You are welcome to work with your own data during the arivis software workshop. If you aim to do so, please indicate during registration.
The workshop is limited to 25 persons, therefore please register for participation and also indicate whether you want to bring your own data to work with.
